Hunger at Home welcomes its new Program Manager, Lauren Bailey! This is Lauren’s first job working in the Non-profit sector, but she is no stranger to many of our NPO partners. Born and raised in San Jose, Lauren comes to us with years of volunteer experience with Sacred Heart, Second Harvest Food Bank, City Team, and many other organizations. In the first three weeks of her joining our team, Lauren has helped rescue over 354 pounds of food, that’s 745 meals! Lauren plans to change the way we interact with both our non-profit, and for-profit partners. From providing monthly environmental impact reports, attending events thrown by the NPOs, to generating more media attention, Lauren is the driving force we need to achieve our 2018 goals. Additionally, she will transform our onboarding process so that we can easily bring in more partnerships. This will be the year where we make huge strides in making the previously acceptable, unacceptable!
