Our goal is to raise $350,000 to expand our food rescue and recovery programs.
Last year we held the extraordinarily successful 10 th annual Bridge the Gap Gala. While we love a big celebration, our Board of Directors has decided to host a gala every other year moving forward given our small but mighty team and our critical mission.
Over the next several months, our team’s time and energy will be focused on opportunities that have emerged from California’s new Organic Food Waste Law (SB 1383). Hunger at Home is uniquely positioned to grow exponentially due to this law and the timing is key.
Our gala will be back next year, but the need to feed people never goes away.
